August 2024 \/ Irland \/ Dublin \/ Castle<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Wir haben Regionen in Irland besucht, die sehr abgelegen und ausgesprochen d\u00fcnn besiedelt waren (mit geringer Einwohner- aber hoher Schafsdichte). Dublin ist das pure Gegenteil. Die irische Hauptstadt z\u00e4hlt \u00fcber eine halbe Million Einwohner. Rund jeder neunte Einwohner Irlands lebt in der Hauptstadt. Entsprechend viel Verkehr hat es in und um Dublin. Zum Gl\u00fcck gibt es hier &#8211; genau gleich wie in England auch &#8211; ein vorz\u00fcgliches Park and Ride Angebot. So k\u00f6nnen wir auf der Autobahn &#8211; diese ist rund um Dublin geb\u00fchrenpflichtig &#8211; einen grossen Parkplatz ansteuern und uns dann bequem mit dem Tram ins Zentrum von Dublin fahren lassen.
