Den Eingang in die Geschichtsb\u00fccher  hat er dem Umstand zu verdanken, dass sein Schiff 1588 w\u00e4hrend einer aussergew\u00f6hnlichen Sturmsaison vor der K\u00fcste Irlands sank. de Cuellar konnte sich retten und sp\u00e4ter seine Erlebnisse niederschreiben. Zum Andenken an ihn und die gesamte spanische Armada, die hier schwere Verluste erlitt, hat man in der N\u00e4he von Grange ein Monument errichtet. Dieses ist sch\u00f6n in die K\u00fcstenlandschaft eingebettet, was der Hauptgrund daf\u00fcr ist, dass de Cuellar Aufnahme in diesen Blog fand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>28.
