Die bizarren Formationen sind durch nat\u00fcrliche Erosion von Sand- und Lehmschichten an den Ausl\u00e4ufern des Pirin-Gebirges entstanden. \u00dcber Jahrtausende formten Wasser, Wind, Hitze und K\u00e4lte das Gestein zu bizarren, bis zu 100 Meter hohen Pyramiden- und Pilzformen.
