Februar 2025 \/ Gibraltar \/ The Rock<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Am Tag vor unserer \u00dcberfahrt nach Marokko haben wir noch einen Abstecher nach Grossbritannien unternommen. Gibraltar ist seit 1704 britisches Hoheitsgebiet. W\u00e4hrend des spanischen Erbfolgekriegs eroberten englische Truppen die Festung. Im Frieden von Utrecht wurde Gibraltar 1713 &#8222;f\u00fcr alle Zeiten&#8220; den Briten zugesprochen. S\u00e4mtliche Versuche der Spanier, Gibraltar zur\u00fcckzubekommen, sind seither gescheitert. Das Bild von Gibraltar wird durch den m\u00e4chtigen Felsen gepr\u00e4gt, der \u00fcber 400 Meter aus dem Meer ragt und den die Briten schlicht &#8222;The Rock&#8220; nennen. Der Aufstieg auf &#8222;The Rock&#8220; ist selbst im Winter schweisstreibend, aber absolut lohnend. Die Aussicht ist gewaltig.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2.
